How donating to Goodwill before 2015 ends makes the best “Boomerang” gift!
Have you heard of boomerang gifts? If you haven’t, you’ve been missing out. Let me explain:
When you take your spouse to Hawaii for a two-week vacation as a Christmas present for her/him, you will enjoy the beach, food and rest too. Or if you give your boyfriend two tickets to a game where his favorite sports team will play and you know he will take you, you’ll be cheering your team too! Same goes when you take your girlfriend to dinner in the best restaurant in town. You both will enjoy that fabulous five-course meal! Get it?
You can also “boomerang” give when you donate to Goodwill!
You may donate your unwanted clothing or household goods, or directly make a financial donation. Your donations will help support the mission of Goodwill of empowering individuals with disabilities and other barriers to employment to gain independence through the power of work!
So how does donating to Goodwill NYNJ turn into a boomerang gift, you ask? Simple:
Because Goodwill is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, your clothing and household goods donations are tax-deductible. Yes, you can use the tax receipt when you file your taxes in 2016. Plus, you’ll feel good for helping a neighbor in need.
Below is the information we need to complete it.
Tax Receipt Instructions
