Fourth Goodwill Boutique Will Open in Manhattan September 17

web_400x275On Thursday, September 17, Goodwill NYNJ will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 9:30 a.m. to inaugurate its fourth boutique in Manhattan. Located at 7 West 14th Street, just West of Fifth Avenue, the retail location will open its doors to the public immediately after the event. The 4,800 sq. ft. Boutique will provide jobs for nineteen local residents.

The opening of a new store is always a cause for celebration for Goodwill NYNJ. Our retail locations bring quality clothing and household goods at bargain prices for families in the surrounding community. But not only that. All our Goodwill stores serve as donation centers where residents can donate the new and used clothing and home goods they no longer need. Because Goodwill NYNJ is a nonprofit organizations, tax receipts are available upon request.

Stores contribute to the mission of Goodwill. Sales proceeds help to fund our programs. At the same time, stores offer training and employment for individuals with disabilities and other barriers to employment.

Join the Fashion Week NYC celebration, Goodwill style, on opening day with a DJ spinning for your shopping pleasure. Come early and get the best selection!

Last year, Goodwill NYNJ helped residents divert more than 112 million pounds of unwanted goods from local landfills.
