Last Thursday, October 23, our Youth Programs took part in the 15th annual rally to support afterschool programs. We joined 8,000 events across the nation. Launched in October 2000, Lights On Afterschool is the only nationwide event celebrating afterschool programs and their important role in the lives of children, families and communities. New data shows unmet demand for afterschool at nearly 20 million children.
Watch a video of one of our events here.
