We are excited to announce our new partnership with our friends at MakeSpace! Starting today, we will come together to make donating to Goodwill easier than ever.
Follow these three quick steps to de-clutter your house and do-good at the same time:
2. Fill up your bag and bins.
3. Schedule a Pickup. MakeSpace will take your storage items off your hands and donate the items you no longer want to Goodwill.
1-2-3 and you’re on the way to a bigger home and
a better world!
Please Note: This offer applies to new MakeSpace users who sign up between July 10 and September 10, 2014, and is valid in Manhattan, Brooklyn or Queens. If you would like a tax receipt for your donation, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject “MakeSpace Donation Receipt Request” and provide the following information: date, # boxes/bags (if more than the large bag provided), itemized list, first & last name, address and phone number.
What is MakeSpace?
MakeSpace is a next generation full-service storage company designed to take the pain out of using traditional self-storage units. With reservations available for scheduled drop-off and pick-up times, MakeSpace is taking the “self” out of self-storage, so customers never have to step foot in a storage facility again. For a nominal monthly fee, MakeSpace lets users store four bins of photo-catalogued items, viewable at any time on their MakeSpace account page. All items are easily retrievable – with the click of a button, a driver will bring the selected boxes in less than 48 hours to the user’s address. MakeSpace is headquartered in New York City, and currently serves New York City and surrounding areas.

Although she loves jogging along Lake Michigan and exploring the Windy City, her heart lies back home in New Jersey where pizza is the right shape and bagels are a delicacy. This summer, she’s back in the Big Apple interning and blogging with Goodwill Industries before she heads off to Seville, Spain to study abroad for the fall semester.
