Do you want employment support but hate the pressure of searching for help and dressing up for career fairs? At Goodwill’s “Jobs-Plus Family Festival” this Thursday you can access job training and employment support resources all while wearing a t-shirt and shorts!
The “Jobs-Plus Family Festival” will take place this Thursday, June 26, from 12-5 p.m. at the Monroe Community Center in the Bronx. Community members are encouraged to bring their entire families to the event that will include fun and games for the kids as well as job and community resources for the adults!
Jobs-Plus offers job training and employment support for residents of the Clason Point, Sack Wern and Monroe New York City Housing Authority developments.
For this event, Jobs-Plus has invited local organizations that will offer health care, bank accounts, training programs, child safety, and cell phone plans to the local community.
But this event won’t be all business. Jobs-Plus will have food, beverages, raffles and kid-friendly games so the entire community can have a great time!
The event is free and open to the public. The Monroe Community Center is located at 1776 Story Avenue, Bronx, NY 10473.
Please contact Jobs-Plus Assistant Program Director, Janae Shields, at 347-291-8050 or email@example.com for more information.
