Looking to build your resume, pass the time, or work with others in a meaningful way? Volunteering is the perfect way to do all three, and here at Goodwill, we’re looking for you!
Goodwill is currently seeking volunteers with a BA to provide academic advising support and counseling support with a 3 to 6 month commitment at our Attendance Improvement Dropout Prevention (AIDP) Program in the Bronx.
We’re hoping to put together a team of great role-models who can support our academic advisers and counselors 3 days a week, roughly 6 hours a day. If you’re interested in giving back and changing lives (including your own), please contact Theresa McCoy, 347-992-2634 at AIDP – 800 Gunhill Road, Bronx, NY 10467.
Goodwill’s AIDP program, in collaboration with school staff and administration has ensured the academic success of all AIDP High school students by providing comprehensive academic support service, counseling, and attendance monitoring.
Goodwill engages families of AIDP students in student’s education and encourages them to become connected to their schools through home visits, conference phone calls, and emails and life to life connections.
