Goodwill’s Beacon 109 Summer Media Camp officially kicked off earlier this week, and we’re looking forward to an amazing summer! Take a peek at what’s on the roster:

Cheerleader Clinic
Basketball Clinic
Soccer Clinic
Lego Architects
Arts for Humanity
Media Literacy

Along with all that, campers will be instructed to use math and written/verbal communication throughout all of our activities to further strengthen them in those areas academically. And, just for fun, we’ll be heading to Rye Playland in early August.

One cool snapshot from last year’s Summer Camp. Something tells us this year is going to be even more fun!

Looks like a blast, right? We think so – and the camper seem to agree! So, how can you get involved?

The camp is offered free to enrolled participants, ages six through thirteen. While it’s full for this year, keep in the loop via the Beacon 109 Facebook Page to learn about other great upcoming community youth programs and to ensure your kid’s spot next summer.

Another great way to get involved is to show your support by shopping and donating Goodwill. Not only do we accept your no-longer-needed items, we also accept online monetary donations, donations that greatly help ensure our ability to keep programs like the Beacon 109 Summer Media Camp up and running.

Keep checking back for more updates and photos from our awesome Beacon campers and other outstanding Goodwill program participants. And enjoy the summer, all!
