Did you buy Fruit of the Loom’s grey-soled socks last month? If so, you might have noticed a little Goodwill right there in the package.
Fruit of the Loom’s new Fruit Socks now feature a sticker raising awareness of Goodwill’s critical job training and readiness services. Those socks even went social, directing sock-buyers to show support by “liking” Fruit Socks on Facebook. For each new “like” before July 31st, Fruit of the Loom will donate $1 to Goodwill Industries International, up to $100,000.
Socks with a giving spirit – we’re definitely a fan. Especially in this economy, supporting Goodwill helps Fruit of the Loom give back to their community, spreading the message, “We care, and we’re listening.”
