Spring is here and summer’s just around the corner – so it’s the perfect time to apply to be a Goodwill GoodGuides Mentor and change a kid’s life. If you’re looking for a meaningful way to spend your time, it doesn’t get much better than this.

Become a mentor and change a life. GoodGuides is ready and waiting to help you make it happen.

Goodwill GoodGuides helps youth build career plans and skills, and prepare for school completion, post-secondary training and productive work by providing structured and supportive relationships with trusted adult mentors. It targets youths between the ages of 12 and 17 who are at-risk for dropping out of school, facing legal troubles, or are at risk for delinquency due to issues such as abuse, disability, drug or alcohol dependence, or gang membership.

Once approved by the GoodGuides staff, mentors are paired with local mentees, kids deemed at-risk for delinquency – the goal is to get these kids on the right path by providing a positive role model, fun activities, and a chance to for these kids to discover their capacity to make a difference.

See those smiles? That's goodwill in action!

Three core values  anchor GoodGuides: Commitment to Self, Commitment to Community and Self Empowerment. With positive support and solid mentors, our participants will become independent critical thinkers who are assets to themselves their communities and their families. Come help make this happen.
