While we’re talking back-to-school over on our retail blog A Good Look, here on Where the Goodwill Goes, it’s definitely still summer and camp’s going strong – the Diane Armstrong Family Learning Center summer camp in Astoria, to be exact!

Right now, the kids are prepping to put on a theatrical productionCool Suit, a hip-hop version of the Emperor’s New Clothes. We checked on to see how the campers are preparing for their big debut. Take a look:

Strengthening those singing muscles - our campers are going to be amazing on-stage!

This year we were lucky enough to secure a donation/grant from New Mountain Academy that allowed us to hire three specialized instructors for the summer camp. That grant plus your donations fund a summer these kids will never forget. From both Where the Goodwill Goes and the future Broadway stars at FLC’s summer camp, thank you and have a great weekend!
