If you follow our stores over at A Good Look by GoodwillNyNj, you probably heard about the fantastic recent DIY event we did with artist/designer David Leon Morgan at the Goodwill Village Boutique. The event promoted reuse while bringing the local community together.
Our in-store event drew a huge crowd…
…but nothing compared to the buzzing, beaming kids’ at Goodwill’s Summer Camp!
Now, one of the best things about Goodwill is that we are more than just stores. We are rehabilitation programs, job search resources, veteran services – and at least until school restarts, Summer Camp.
It seemed only natural to invite David to lead our Goodwill Summer Camp kids in a DIY workshop, enriching their experience while sharing a peek into just where the Goodwill Goes. Take a look:
